How do those shocks fit with the mip shafts? Looks like the BMRC mount stands the shocks out a bit more then the exo.

I actually straightened his shock tower up a little. It was laid too far back and made for interference issues with the shock body and the mount. The shafts rub on the springs but I think they will be OK.

I compared mine to Jerry's today out at Goat hill, it's just the way the kit is. These things are not going to steer very well and that's just going to have to be something we live with a I guess.

Mabye a steering rack or bridge similar to the one I make for the TC-FD drifter will correct the steering geometry issues.

Maybe, but the limitations are also due to the clearances of the knuckle and carrier. The current location of the rack makes for poor angles but even after fixing that I'm probably not going to be able to get the steering I'm going to want.

It's real tight.....but managed to get close to .5" towards the front, had to do a little shaving.

Seems to be a bit better, thinking I can live with it (running some extra HP).

Any more forward and you will have to mount @ the lower plate (using the traxxas bc unit)...then deal with the servo link angle and a whole new set of clearances.

That seems much better. 1/2" forward is a big improvement. Looks like you made a new plate to mount it to. Was there no room to just drill the top plate?

None at all...

The "folds", on the top plate, would need to be out at the lower frame rail. A custom bumper would be a must, with the mount moving in.

It definitely lOOks better thats for sure, everything is almost parallel-ish.

I have a second piece already started if you want it (was gonna stack two pieces at first, but ended up just using one).

While not an Exo front end, my Trophy Wraith with the slash 4x4 front end had really limited throw. But the main limit is the MIP cvd's. FIne in a short course truck, but when us crawlers are used to 40+ degrees they just do not cut it. Without major time on a lathe I think the IFS front ends are going to be limited to the 30's. Maybe VP will release a cvd kit for the exo. That would help.

Yeah Harley, have Steve get on it! Steering angle is the only thing keeping me from starting a wrexo project.

I just a got a wrexo just some advice I'm doing alot of upgrades at this time but the issue I find is that the stock exo plastic plate the the corner where the servo sits flexes when steering left to right is this common should I just buy this ifs kit to replace the cut exo plastic plate? And does stock wraith mip fit fine for the front drive line ? Tranny to front diff? This build Harley is sick by the way?
