|  new servo noise?
put in a new savox servo sb-2270sg with a castle 10A bec, when i turn the wheels the servo makes a kinda high pitch whining type noise, no noise when straight...is this normal with high torque digital servos?

Yes, I ran a savox (I say ran because it is out for another issue) and it is totally normal for that brand to make a bunch of noise. It's constantly trying to find center, and it chirps , squawks, and whines to let you know its working to do so.

As gutsploder said, it is totally normal. My 1230 does it all the time. Just trying to find center. Even the Savox in my short course does it as well.

You might need to dial back your EPA's (end point adjustments). You could be maxing out the trucks steering and the servo tries to keep going further but it cant, that would cause excessive noise. . |
