| LeeSc10's Wrexo Ultra4 Build
Well since the Wringo project was short lived it's time to start over again. Got a Wraith coming with the Blue Monkey RC IFS conversion on it. Traded the Wringo to TheManCave for his Wrexo. Gonna start simple on this one and go from there. I have a nice parts list already. I plan on getting most of it in a couple weeks. It comes with a two Wraith bodies, the Camaro body in the pic. A set of shocks, not sure what kind and some other odds and ends. All that I will need to finish is a rear axle and some drive shafts I think. Will know more once I get it. The mods that I have done to it are as follows. It has Robinson Racing gears inside the trans and the RRP steel spur gear. MIP Wraith drive shafts, rear axle has ST Racing Concepts alum upper link mount and lower shock mounts and their alum bearing caps, Hot Racing rear locker and a custom alum skid plate. Rear links are from RC4WD Rock Krawler. The front suspension has RPM a-arms, Traxxas Slash turnbuckles, Vanquish Products Exo steering knuckles, Gpm Racing HD cvd's. Front diff has a Blue Monkey RC Exo locker with Axial Racing HD gears. Also has Traxxas big bore shocks and a Blue Monkey RC ifs electronics tray up. It's rolling on Pro-Line RacingTitus bead-lock rims with Pro-line's Interco TSL SX Super Swamper tires. It's powered by a Team Novak Ballistic 4.5t motor and a Havoc Pro SC esc. Future plans are Axial HD gears front and rear. ST Racing Exo alum caster block and a Alum GPM Exo Diff case. Other items are RC4WD Poison Spyder Wraith Diff cover, MS TECH RC Wraith tire carrier black anodized, BGR Fabrications & Welding Wraith v3 sliders and a custom front stinger. I am sure there will be more down the road but this is it for now. Here are a few pics from TheManCave... Last edited by Ballistic17; 05-24-2014 at 07:17 PM. |

Found a axle set for the Wraith as this one needed the rear. It comes with the front to but that's ok. For the price I paid I couldn't pass it up. There stock Wraith housings and the front is locked and has Axial universals " brand new one run", HR hubs n chubs, also aluminum skid plates front and rear. The rear is locked and has Strc lockouts, upper and lower links along with the STRC bearing caps. The rear axle shafts have been heat treated also. Should get all the items next week here. Can't wait to get started on this. Last edited by Ballistic17; 12-08-2013 at 12:57 AM. |

Picked up a built Wraith trans. It's loaded up with gears from RRP and a 32 pitch RRP spur. (motor not included) So I guess this build is going a little faster then I thought. Last edited by Ballistic17; 12-07-2013 at 11:12 PM. |

Got some more parts in today. Got the built RRP trans, rear axle, front axle, MIP's and new rear STRC rear upper link. Looking at the front axle got me thinking... 4 wheel steer? Just waiting for my shocks to show up. Then start working on it. |

I traded for a set of shocks the other day. They should be here Monday. They will be used to make it a roller till I get the ones I want. Last edited by Ballistic17; 12-14-2013 at 09:50 PM. |

Well I got my shocks today and started working on it. Rear done... Front done... And it's now a roller. Still need to finish a few small things up. Then put the electronics in it. There's still a few things I want to order also. |

If you plan to really crawl with it, 4ws would be a good idea. Otherwise it's just more parts to break. Dna |

Don't think I will get into a lot of crawling. More trail running. Yeah that's what I was thinking. I will leave it the way it is for now.

Thanks. It's a slow winter build. Next on the list is to beef up the Exo front end.
