Default Has anyone shopped asiatees hobbies?

I usually do all my online shopping on a-main hobbies but I stumbled across this site asiatees hobbies. Anyone used them? I was looking for upgraded driveshafts because mine are twisting, and longer shocks for a tad more flex. If this site is bogus can someone point me in the right direction for either of those parts?

I bought several HPI RS4 3 parts from them for my ol' IFS SCX rig. You get what you pay for though. If you buy $12 driveshafts expect $12 quality and performance. Parts that wont have alot of stress on them can be a different story. I only had one issue after 3 separate orders. One part was left out but they quickly sent out the part.

Rpp hobbies. They sell more quality stuff. There is a mod you can do to the driveshafts to get them to hold up. You put epoxy in and 1/4 threaded rod in. It keeps them from twisting. Just search on here. Might be in Harley's stickie.

AsiaTees is reliable, but almost all of the GPM products I've gotten from them suck. Gears that don't fit in a CC01, 4-link kit with incorrect parts, and Losi micro shocks that can't fully compress due to the shock bladders.

I'd look at rc4wd shocks or slash rears from eBay. And traxxas max shafts.

I've got along of miles on myax shafts and am loving the rc4wd spark shocks.

I've spent pennies compared to what most spend on they're wraiths.

Got a pile'o stuff coming. 4th order, never had a problem yet. sometimes shipping is lengthy though. Anywhere from 1-2.5 weeks.

I use them for hard to find parts for various Tamiya vehicles. Got a lot of stuff on there you cannot source in the states.

I can vouch for the link mounts, c hubs, lockouts, and the cv shafts.

I ordered Topcad steering links from Amazon. Asiatees stickers came with them. Not sure if they are associated.

The steering links broke in 2 places after 10 minutes of mild use.

The links from topcad/asiatees are absolute garbage, way better off making your own. There are a couple hard to screw up parts from them that aren't bad though. Rear axle lockouts, chubs, knuckles, servo posts, skids, shock towers etc. I picked up a couple sets of xr/wraith chubs/knuckles and they're holding up fine, fit is finish is good. Although they don't have the adjustability of vp parts... arms specifically, they're basically locked in ackerman similar to stock scx10 but a tad better.

Don't get any 'complicated' parts or something that has alot of moving parts like cvd's, trans gears etc.

Agreed with buying from vendors here for necessary upgrades though, I've been taken care of well from any vendor recommended on rcc.
