So I have been dreaming of building a rock bouncer to pull on a trailer behind my scx10 and thanks to overtime at work the project begins. I am using a wraith based chassis made out of welded rod (built by rcc member 85toycrawler and is a great job) I am using Currie rockjock axles with aluminum chubs, knucks, lockouts, vanquish vvd's, titanium steering links etc., mip shafts, aluminum skid, r2j stainless links full kit with bent lowers, 103mm gmade piggybacks, rc4wd ax2 2-speed trans, tekin roc412 2300kv, pitbull rockbeast2's on vanquish Dirty Harry's, mmp esc, savox waterproof steering servo, and a dx4s with 3ch waterproof rx. I'm not sure if I want to buy another waterproof servo for a shift servo but I may waterproof an extra 645mg. Now to the pictures this is the wheel base/ride height I'm shooting for. Thanks guys, got the skid in and the trans mounted with shift servo installed and linkage setup, used a venom motor for the mock-up. Now just waiting for the rest of my parts to finish, I think I may box the motor and esc up after the motor gets in and send them to Mr Holmes to be waterproofed. But here's some pictures. |

Make sure you take some time setting up the end points on that servo for the ax2. I burnt a servo up in like 30 min..

| Re: project: Pinkie motor came in today, and picked up a servo while I was there since I'm sick of waiting on the one I bought off here, now just need my r2j links to get here and I'm up and running. |
