Sorry newbie to rc & wraith. Servo issues

I am new to rc and wraiths. I swapped out the factory servo to a savox sc-1256tg and installed a castle bec. Now servo makes a funny noise and steering goes in the opposite direction when you turn the wheel. I could use some educated help. Also, I did use the castle programmer to change the output to servo to 6v.

So far I am thinking that sticking to the gun hobby will be less stressful and less expensive8)

Digital servos make noise. Go in your transmitter and reverse the steering.

rc is expensive. but also loads of fun. finding a happy medium is key. i personally dont think a wraith is a good learning vehicle. like 2wdslash is a good learning start as far as matenince and mechanics. make sure the brown or black negative wire is on the outside of the reciever when plugged in. you may have just got a bad servo. i purchased a bad servo from savox that wouldnt stop spazzing out and they replaced it. as far as the crossed steering, they're should be a setting on the remote to swicth reversed steering. if you need help with any one thing specifically the search engine for this sight helps but be prepared to read.

Reverse the steering channel on the radio.

That servo is great on buggies and airplanes but on crawl we its under powered.

The buzzing is normal for all digital servos. Specially under powered for the application

Guns less expensive? What are you playing with .22 cal?

Lol. I've suck some cash into my 10/22.

Stay off Harley's build threads and just replace what brakes as it brakes. No need to spend hundreds before you ever need to.

I run the 1256tg and it works great. Reverse the steering on the radio and go! The servo will work great in an rtr.

Just remember that Savox servos are a lot more "talky" than other servos. I have had a Savox servo in every single RC since I began the hobby (3+ years) and they are still kicking with the same amount of strength.

Savox is a much better value for your dollar than Hitec.

Hmm guess the local hobby town guys steered me wrong. They said the 277.7oz-in would be good. That sucks

Have you priced .22 lately ;-) Actually I'm in to class III guns. But they aren't toys!

277 is more then enough should work very good.

I'm a big savox fan I'm currently running the 1268 on 6 volts which is only about 200oz.

1256 actually has good specs. But is a smaller gear train but should last a long time.

I looked it up after replying. 277 is plenty

I see some good optics there. I'm not much for that of rifle but know a good optic is worth way more then firearm its anchored to.

Those also appear to be quite
