Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

Are you not tempted to go the full BGR hog and add the sliders? They are great. I think I have almost the same setup as you but the Stinger bumper. The shocks hoops are on the list for me. :)

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

Call me strange, but I don't really like the look of rock sliders sticking out past the side of the body and tbh I like the look of the ones I have on her at the mo :)

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

That's fair enough. :)

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

The ones on her at the moment are from Radshape, it's pretty much the only UK part on the whole truck lol

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

Haha. Yeah I bought the Radshape panels but without the sliders. I like the way they curve and keep crud out of the foot wells. Shame I could not just buy the sides as the roof and hood were not really needed.

And a little vid of me messing about on 3s

http://youtu.be/QmOzHLkJs80?list=UUw...xxkpQEbBQJoK7A

The slipper was a bit loose and im running the limiter on the RX8 at 70% so she still has loads to give if needed

May be they slip better on obstacles but it is certainly you loose few mm of clearance and sometimes they can make the difference.

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

They are more for looks than anything, I've lost no clearance as the plate follows the line of the frame, so no extra chance of it getting snagged up

Beautiful KOH style rock racer CC. What length are your shocks?

Curb Crawler 01-10-2015 02:27 AM

Re: CC's Nothing special Wraith :)

110mm, I'm running them pretty soft, but with the front roll bars I'm getting hardly any torque twist and loads of suspension action

Cool, I have some 114's coming in. We'll see how they work with a droop kit.
Your rig is wicked.
