Well I put, the factory pinion and spur in the rig long enough to test it. I am scheduled to hook up with a friend on Wednesday to use his Castle Link to switch the ESC to forward and reverse.as well as set the BEC

The light kit came in yesterday. Nothing special, just the kit from the RTR version. I almost went RTR just to get lights.

Put the RTR light kit in, I was surprised how easy it went in. Axial did a good job with the light housings. I did need to untwist the front lights one turn to have enough reach to mount the lights.

Thanks to allanon1965 for setting the BEC and ESC on my rig today. Now if the weather will cooperate, I will be able to paint the skins. And I still need to find a driver.

Just waiting for the weather to warm up and paint the skins. It is a functional rig at this time.

I am starting to think that I will call my rig done (as soon as the skins are painted and indtalled). That is, until stuff starts breaking! :-)

Did some painting today roof and dash are now a golden vinyl color.

The interior was a major disappointment. I had chosen a greenish golden metallic. Almost a metallic Forrest green. I knew it was a pearl color.
When it camr out it was a milky white with green tint.

I will get some black and paint it on the outside. But this totally screws up the body colors. They are un-touched. But I need another color to go with the gold.

The next step is a full set of Crawler Inovations foams to replace the kit foams, they are ordered.
