Do your axial wraith kits not have bearings in the box?
Shure bearings get worn but i have always only seen advantages with bearings instead of bushings. I mean one bearing is lika 1.50usd.

Bearings do not stay together as long as these bushings. Again, bushings have to be replaced but not as often as bearings.

I have gotten a couple questions about the HPI Apache interior specs.

I don't know the stock length but mine is trimmed down to about 5.25". It can be trimmed further too. I probably cut an inch off, maybe less, from what I remember.

The width is around 5.85"-6". Mine is wedged in the chassis and is about 5.85" wide now.

The height is about 2.25". The bottom side hangs down (drivers arms molding) a little so I would say 2.25-2.45"or so. The bottom side of mine is crunched from taking it in and out a few times but no cracks yet from crumpling. Not a big deal.

Thanks, I still have to play around with front shock oil and springs. Bottom out a little too easy right now using stock springs and 45wt oil.

Very nice rig. The BFG's fit the theme much better than the SX's

Are those wheels available to the masses?

I definitely like the look of BFG's vs the swampers.
The Crawler Innovation's wheels are not released at the moment but I would say it would be sooner than later. Eddie graciously sent me one set of prototypes to try out on this rig.

In regards to the wheel;

C.I.'s "6 Bolt" Performance Wheel will be available and shipping to customers on April 1st (next Tuesday).
The "6 Bolt" wheels are already finished & @ C.I.
We are waiting for the new sticker and header card for the "6 Bolt" to arrive.

They are not listed for sale on the web site yet. CI doesn't do pre-orders. When they are ready to ship, they will be available for sale.

The "6 Bolt" will be $11.95 per pair and that includes 12 Button head Stainless Steel bolts.

The "6 Bolt" requires the use of Vanquish Products SLW Hubs which the customer must provide. The Axial Trail Ready plastic SLW hubs also fit the "6 Bolt" and when you do, it makes the "6 Bolt" wheel the lightest available. It's also the cheapest in cost :-)

These are 100% made in the USA.
