Default Szczerba's 2014 2.2 #744 Wraith

I asked mcrawlinslow to build me a 2.2 starter chassis and he sent this little jewel. I quickly got to work on setting it up

I ordered the Vanquish TI links and the BlueMonkey RC rear dual lowers. That put the rig at a 14.5" wb. I knew I needed to shorten it up but here are some pics to get going.

Full bump at 14.5

Full bump at 14.5"

Semi ride height at 14.5"

This build is focusing on that aspect, crawling and go-fast mixed together. Suspension adjustably and geometry are essential. Hence all the upper link/shock mounts I had Brandon weld in. I added somemore to the rear chassis upper link mounts too to fit the ti links and shortened wb.

Sitting at it's final 13.5" wb

And I am still leaching myself MIG welding so done stare one spot too long. Black chassis paint will cover up my flaws nicely.

Since I run the Dinky RC wraith servo/link mount and the servo arm pointing up it caused issues at full
Bump.

Cut the section out and added a bent piece of steel.

Then a crossbar for support and front sway bar hastily burned in.

Looks great Shane.

Not only does paint cover up imperfections, so does dirt!

Black paint is my friend. I tend to rush and skip some details sometimes.

Thanks. I put all my wraith axle'd rigs in the wraith section. I've got a couple monster truck builds in the wraith section. Lol

Take that back my old wraith axle'd Scramblin' KOH rig is in the 2.2 section.
