| Bad plugs
Got a new RTR wraith a few days ago, soon it started behaving weird, cutting out and stuff. Turned out the plugs were no good and couldn't handle the lipo, changed the plugs to traxxas style and no problem since, anyone experianced this?

yes, the tamiya style connectors can not handle the current flow of Lipo batteries. they are a loose fit at best and that creates heat buildup which leads to even more of a loose fit and the connection fails. Its not that they were no good, just not designed for Lipo batteries, if you had stayed with the Nimh Battery it would most likely been fine.

I'm a big fan of XT60 connectors, I recommend them over Deans and Traxxas connectors every time |

Even with the Nimh battery I had nothing but problems with the Tamiya connector that came with the RTR. I prefer Traxxas connectors and use them in everything without issue.
