Extra clamps from the axial light bar kit and 2 small screws from my axial screw stash....equals a perfect hinge.

Yup...the 2 that are straight with thicker plastic for the screw to bite into....the thicker side of course goes to the bottle and the hood sits on top of the thin side .....screw goes thru the hood into the hinge clamp. The beauty of this setup is you can control the tightness of the clamps so the hood will stay open on its own.

On mine I used the stock hood screws in the stock front locations and always take a 1.5mm hex drive with me if needed, I detest hood pins in my wraith....looks like crap to me.
below is a link to my PS wraith hood mod with the clamps

Two strips of lexan formed around a pencil, drill with body reamer, secured with body screws and small 3mm nuts.

And there's a whole thread dedicated to CKRC and why one should be hesitant to consider.

i used 1/4 inch nylon cable clamps.

i used two small washers to give some clearance, and it holds itself in an open position.

and i used the traxxas battery hold down parts for the hood pins.
