Default Interior tearing apart

After just over a month the interior of my wraith is almost destroyed.
Bolts are pulled through the plastic on one side, interior is splitting along the center hump, cracks all through it, chunks broken off at the front, etc.

Is this unusual or have others had this problem?

If I had known it might happen I would have reinforced the corners when new. Now there's not enough solid plastic to do a good repair job.

Stock motor and ESC, no falls hard enough to damage anything, body looks like new.

something is flexing way too much, I have used and abused mine way harder than you say you have yours and I have no issues at all...have you checked all the chassis screws? did you cut the chassis at any point to modify it?

No chassis mods except flipping the rear shock mount towers, and I put a cross-brace in from tower to tower

Faulty plastic from factory??
Bashing outside in extreme cold weather??
Involved in one too many demolition derbies??
Just plain bad luck??

What ever the cause was, that just doesn't look good at all.

What kind of paint did you use? Or did you use something to clean the lexan? There are some things that will turn the lexan brittle and it will break very very easy. I don't remember what it was, but I put something on a piece of lexan when I first started well over 10 years ago and it just turned it into crap!

new RTR poison spider.

Only cleaned with Simple Green, which I have been using for years on my RCs.

Couple of tumbles, but nothing that caused any other damage, and that's with stock Cs and knuckles.

I've run it in cold weather, but no crashes at that temp. Just zipping around the yard.

If you use to concentrated simple green it will degrade the plastic. I used it on my Exo body and it disintegrated it. It has to be a high delusion.

Something is definitely way off.

Check that all the screws are in the cage. It looks like the cage is seperating and stretching the interior pan.

Or you got some super brittle interior. Never seen anything like that before.

That's crazy! It's got to be a bad part from the factory...

This is from my experiences with working with Lexan bodies. Certain chemicals will cause that to happen. If you used Simple Green to clean it, then it may contain alcohol in it, which will dry out the Lexan an cause it to crack. Lexan manufactures warn of using any alcohol based products for cleaning. To complicate things, metallic paints seem to contain more solvents that attack the Lexan. You have to be careful not to spray too heavy of coats and allow proper drying between coats so the solvents can outgas outwards or they will eat into the Lexan too much causing it to become brittle. Another tip is to oversize all screw holes because forcing a screw through Lexan will cause stress fractures over time. I would only clean the Lexan with a mild detergent and water from now on.

That looks like it has been exposed to Carbon Tetra Chloride or motor spray.

Looks like solvent damage or bad manufacturing.

IOt can't be from simple green. I SG the hell out of my nitro bodies and then beat on them. WAY harded than anything an Axial can do. No cracks or splits.
May have just been a bad batch of plastic they got. Email them pics. They'll probably send a new interior.
