Just a little back story on this build. Started life as pile of parts. Didn't buy a kit cause half the parts wouldn't get used. Picked up a cage and DMG short back stiffy kit, and started building from there. VP currie axles stuffed under it. TMF titanium links holding everything together. Working on trans next.

Looks nice, what are those inner panels on the rear, and where can I get some? Lol...did you make those or buy them?

Thanks, those are rc4wd inner fenders made for the wraith. Come in a set front and rear. Just painted them to look like bed tubs

Good call on the piece part build. I always wondered what the difference total would be to build up a wraith that way. Did you add up all the parts costs? bet it's only few dollar diff., from a RTR to a ARTR (no radio) VP'ed parted out Wraith....

Yea for the most part I'm only maybe a 150 in this more than would be w a rtr. Was very shopper smart. Waited till parts I wanted went on sale and so on. Got the DMG kit slightly used from rok out (local buddy) did trading, used parts off other rigs. But yea anybody that wants to build a high end rig this proves it can be done and not break the bank.

I'm guessing that it will look like something that Gas Monkey Garage would make. I like it!

Got the trans built last night. All metal RR gears. Super Shafty motor plate and beefy top shaft.
Yea I guess u could say it would be considered a fast and loud build

I love how that differential cover is tilted upward on the front and rear. less chance of a diff cover hitting a rock
