Default Rear swing out tire carrier on Wraith!

So I have been looking, fitting, guessing and building! Luckily I have a friend with an SCX10 who let me borrow parts to test fit and I have completed this using only Axial parts tree AX80126 and some random screws I had laying around.

So it must be the rear bumper mount for the Rubicon or G6, or else it doesn't have the neccessary mounts to put on the wraith. Sorry for the crap shots, but you can use your brain and see what I did lol.

A view from underneath. The triangle shape rear bumper mount. Triangular is important and I will explain why in following images.

This is how I mounted it to the wraith body. The rear has the unused "tabs/hoops" that I ran a long full thread with internal hex through to secure.

Here is an older view to help understand, this was my mock up with the old body on.

And the 3rd mounting point is important because if you drill this hole and run a long screw through your able to adjust the (angle) of the bumper by tightening/loosening this screw. If you refer to previous images you can see the drop screw I'm talking about.

And using the clip that normally hooks up to the mount on the SCX10 body I clip to the rear panel of my wraith (unless I think of a better way).

And the final product looks like this! With the rear (trimmed to fit) fender flares I love the wider appearance bumper. I don't get rub on the bumper or flares, though I am only running 93mm Gmade Piggybacks.

Sorry, I'm not the "write up" type but still like to share my ideas for others to use and modify just as I have done with many other ideas from this site from day one!

Ironically even though this was designed for a 1.9 tire it fits 2.2 PERFECTLY. The bottom of the tire sits perfectly on the bumper. I didn't think that part through until I was too deeply commited to stop lol.

not sure if you noticed this or not but your axles aren't centered on the chassis. look at the pic with your finger in it...the screw your pointing too is centered and the upper suspension links at the truss is not. if you research wraith truss in this forum you will see what i'm talking about. BTW love the working doors can you post up how/what you used please. thanks

Yes I have noticed this, but haven't paid it much attention. Have some future plans for different axles so kind of a "back burner" subject.

As for the doors, I posted a while back when I made them an explained it, not good at "write ups" but it's very simple.

If you can't find it PM me and I'll send additional pics and a bit of explaining

Thinking I may narrow the rear axle so that the pumpkin sits centered and the tires are in a bit more. That's my next bit of research!

Seeing as how I am running the 93mm piggyback Gmades they do not rub on the bumper or fenders, get right up on the but does not rub
