Default Steering issues

I recently picked up a wraith used but had no steering set up at all no mount or links.
What im looking for is what is the best set up for it is stock ok or should I be looking for a cms pan hard set up if so who's do you recommend i have a vanquish set up on my scx10 but not sure what its like on a wraith. And are the vanquish links a good ideal to go with over stock. too many options to choose from

Get a good servo with at least 400 ounces of torque. Vanquish links. I have a Savöx 1231SG running 7 volts mounted on the axel. I run vanquish links on the rods. B-)

DO NOT get the cms. It tends to push the chassis instead of turning the tires. Use the stock location with a good sevo like DrDiff952 recommended. And Yes go with upgraded sterring links.

A properly setup CMS with a panhard bar will not push the chassis instead of turning the tires. I have a VP CMS/Panhard setup on my wraith...no issues with bump steer or pushing the chassis instead of the tires.

As was said, with the panhard to properly locate the axle under the chassis there is no issue. As well as having the same amount of steering as servo on axle.

I used the cms to keep the servo up out of harms way..plus if i do get into snow or mud...the servo doesnt act like a plow...
