There are 2 different PitBull rock beasts available. ...are you sure you bought the Rock beast 2 tire with komp kompound?

They are VERY soft

They say "ROCK BEAST II" on the sidewall.

Holding the two in hand, there is a very noticeable difference between compounds IMHO.

The two different 2.2 rock beast he is refereeing to are the one you have and the older 2.2 rock beast XOR, BUT the older XOR are the same soft compound that your 1.9s are.

Once RBIIs get rounded out and wear off the sipping they stop working as well. The 1.9s get better as they wear out, not the case with the 2.2s.
