Default Dinky servo mount vs stock setup?

What is better? I have the dinky mount setup on mine, but I feel like it puts more stress on my servo. Is the stock setup easier on the servo?

I have not noticed a difference. I do like the s-mount due to how low the servo sits.

Seems like I have more steering and power with the dinky setup.

I don't think your servo would know the difference. The Dinky link still mounts the servo in the standard holes. You've only moved the servo down and to the side. As was mentioned you could gain a little more mechanical advantage because the servo arm is more in line with the tierod mount, that should only help the servo.

The only thing giving force to your servo is the servo arm, turning linear force from your drag arm to rotating momentum on the servo Theoretically it is of absolutely no influence where you put your servo. Reduce stress on your servo? Use a shorter servo arm. Or create a weak link that will go before your servo. For instance a plastic servo arm.

In the stock location the servo arm is swinging away from the steering motion

On the dinky it swings towards it. Which provides sharper turns or move the drag link in one Hoke for more servo arm leverage on the steering. Withbthecsame amount of steering
