Default Thinking of buying a Wraith

Like it says I'm looking at a wraith. I am new to crawling, but would like RTR. Which kit is the best to buy? Thanks in advance.

The poision spyder is a great looking one. If I could recommend anything I'd maybe say look at the ax10 deadbolt. Little bit better tires and less cost. Can't go wrong with a wraith though.

If I could give you my best recommendation it would be to get the kit wraith and put it together yourself. You get some Al links, front universals and softer tire rubber. Plus you get to paint it how you want to from the start. Yes more work, but worth it.

Awesome info. I will look into the AX10. Building a kit does sound fun.

I would recommend a Wraith kit as well. The Wraith can be setup to be a great crawler as well as have some speed. I bought a Wraith kit a couple of years ago and love mine. You can spend a little less overall with a RTR model but most likely you're going to upgrade and change out just about every part anyways. lol That is why I liked the kit, I built it to how I wanted the Wraith. I do more crawling than high speed racing so that is the direction I setup mine up.

Also, as for stock tire I think the Axial Ripsaw tires perform better than the Trepadors imo. The Deadbolt I believe has the 2.2 Trepadors? But, I had 1.9 Trepadors on an SCX-10 and they didn't perform well. I've upgraded alot of stuff on my Wraith but it still has the stock 2.2 Ripsaws. They climb great as well as handle all types of terrain.

You really can't go wrong with a Wraith! Good luck!
