| My Boys Wraith
I've done a Wraith in the past but it didn't exactly tick the boxes for me being so addicted to class 1 rigs normally. But me and a mate took my two sons out with their SCX10 and my mates Wraith. We basically let them rip and got this video. When watching the video remember they are only 5 and 7 years old, but they are bonkers good at it. We did get the odd go with them too. Axial Wraith @ SCX10 in the rock garden - YouTube It quickly became obvious they both preferred the Wraith. So had a chat with them and they have decided to trade the SCX10 in for a Wraith. The Wraith arrived today!! Its already had the electrics removed for an Mtronics water proof crawler ESC, Tamiya 35T motor, Spektrum waterproof RX and the Savox 15kg Servo goes in soon. I've just placed my order with RC4WD for their sexy Silver axles and all their trimmings. Also ordered a Stiffy Kit for it so it will be a fast back style wraith. Lots of waiting for parts but this is gonna be a nice truck for the lads |

Bit more done today prepping it for Sunday's Scalerc G6 2nd birthday bash. Now totally waterproof with the servo added. Took a punt on the fastrax CVD's as they where only £11 Wing mirrors and snorkel fitted Tyres and wheels detailed Mr Wild Willy has made an appearance toouooo, though I can't fine paint anymore for toffee. |

Picked up some "upgrades" from Martin of RCBitz on Sunday, so having stripped the car down completely today to get out all the brown gritty goo it was an ideal time to fit some. King Shocks but 100mm to bring the over all ride height down as low as it can be. Axial 4 link kit, Axial steering rods. RC4WD rebuildable Wraith drive shafts RC4WD poison spyder diff covers Radshape skids I've also shortened the front wheelbase by about 8mm as it just seems too long to me. |

A bit more done. Fitted some RC4WD inner fenders, painted em black for now but will probably go silver when I get some paint. Playing with a light bar, not in its final position (looks like a tiara) but need to wait for my new roof bars to arrive before I go drilling holes etc. Its where it is now as the holes line up perfectly. Lastly really didn't want to do this but the tyros rub and catch terribly on the shell by the grill edges and outer fenders so they had to come off and be reduced. Now its done I actually quite like but would have preferred to leave stock. |

The mirrors are made by fastrax if you get that brand where you are and simply put they are just after market general parts. The snorkel is made by a guy on here in the vendors section but can't remember right now who. It's made to fit the scx10 rubicon. |

Cheers (I do get to borrow it for comps though). DMG delivery........DMG delivery. I ordered some custom made parts from Jerry at DMG and they arrived yesterday. I couldn't get them out of the box fast enough. The list was the Fastback Stiffee Kit, stinger, axle skids. I've got say they look awesome, fit awesome and can you tell I'm happy with them. Thanks Jerry! Last edited by northernerbill; 04-05-2014 at 06:57 AM. |

Cheers. I love the king shocks. I used 100mm on this as for me it sat too high and has too much articulation. If I didn't fit the kings it would be prolines.

looking good! Is the event the LSTR event? I was going to go but pulled the tyres of the stock wheels for the 5th time and through a hissy fit. I couldnt bring myself to stump up 100 quid for wheels so ive got the gmade ones and ot em all mounted up tonight. Also how are the Fasttrax axles? Surely you cant go wrong for £11 ? |

No that meeting was the scalerc 2nd birthday bash, a G6 style day up at peterborough. The next LSTR meet is the 27th near Gatwick which I am going to. The Fastrax CVD's are pants mate. One sheered off on the second run where the drive pin is for the hex. I'd save your money for the Axial or RC4WD ones. |

Took the Wraith away with us to Yorkshire this week. We found a brilliant mud/water run............ I'd specifically popped a cheap 35t can motor in for this and it was running on 3S which eventually took its toll ending in this Worth it though |
