Default Any ideas on getting better incline abilites?

I'll start with my current setup:

RTR Wraith
Axial Universals
Aluminum Chubs
Aluminum Knuckles
Axial Rockster Beadlock
Proline TSL 2.2's (weighted 2.75oz each ft. 1oz each rr)
additional stick weight on the axle (.5oz ft. .25 rr)
Stock shocks and springs in droop setup about .5 inch
Battery up front
Servo winch up front
3six Aluminum seats

Am I about at the limit of this truck? Right now I'm getting about a max of 58-60 degrees based on my phones angle finder.

Overdrive gears up front, and/or under drive gears in the rear. Flip the shock mounts to lower the suspension. Just a couple more options.

As above flip the axle shock mounts so they lower the car.

I'm also running 100mm king shocks and sat neutrally my lower links are parallel to the ground, I think it performs great.

what size battery are you running up front?

you could definatly do more weight in your wheels.
especially with the plastic rims.

also get DCW (Duuuuuuuuuude) link risers.

and third if those two don't work do a smaller battery.

are you flipping over backwards or you just cant drive up a steeper slope? the fix can be vastly different for each. and trades offs to be able to do one better than the other.
suggestions above are for flipping over backwards.

eventually you get to the point you cant outrun gravity.

I've thought about under drive in the rear but wouldn't that make my decent suffer? I have to go back down the same slopes I went up to get back to my car.

I'm running a 5000 2s in front of the cowl. I literally couldn't put more weight in the tires without making them lopsided. Which is why I put additional weight on the axle. Total up front there is 6oz.

I am flipping backwards. I'm trying to just keep the front end down. These tires are amazing.

I'd like a pic too. I've done the upper rear mount already.

Going overdrive up front and underdrive in the back, or just overdrive up front alone, would help a bunch with the flipping over.. I had od/ud in an scx unimog and It worked amazing...totally solved my flippong issues... the underdrive in the rear shouldn't affect your decent at all... I never noticed any ill effects from having it...

Just unbolt your shock from the axle along with the lower link...and take that little mount off and turn it upside down...then bolt it back on and hook up the shock and link and bam!!! Ur done...

Sounds great! What if I do A LOT of trail riding? Is it going to affect my gears for wear or anything like that?

ok then you need to do the 3 things I mentioned

more front weight.

fix anti squat (CDW link risers)

and smaller battery (mega top heavy with that brick battery)

you will see vast improvements.

Any idea where I can add more weight?

What exactly do the link risers do? Won't they mess up the axle angles?

Just read your first post again and the 60 degrees part.

Apart from your truck handling better generally with all the above mods I doubt you will get anymore capability on any incline steeper.

At that kind of angle it's easier for the the rear axle to rotate and the wheel stay still flipping your car.

I bet if you removed all the weight from the wheels and axles it would behave the same.
