Would probably crawl better with a rear drive shaft.

That definitely looks different like that. Could get yourself one of the little yellow minion figures with a wrench and mount it to the rear axle, make it look like he's working on it while you crawl.

Some more updates. Now have added the front leading arms and also updated the rear shock tower/brace to have the spare tire sit a little lower. With the first test run with it I did not have the sway bar installed and it will for sure need a sway bar. It wasn't horrible but really could use one when on power. Next will be to adapt a front sway bar and a new body.

Looks like it's going to be fast when it's all done.

Now let's see some pictures with the body on

Thanks man! With the little I have driven it was pretty good. Just a few more tweaks and it will be set.

My buddy Jake(Del Monte) is actually the designer of the servo mount. It requires shaving the axle a little. Really works great though.

I believe it's from the HPI 10th scale trophy truck. Unfortunaly I think they discontinued it.

I'm digging this truck! I've got some similar ideas in mind for my build. Just need to hit your buddy up for some of his secret sauce

Thanks man!

Here is a little preview of what is to come. The sway bar is just mounted with zip ties to check clearance for the body.

Very innovative rig! This thing is beyond bada**! I like your servo mounting. My only concern with it though would be the servo wires getting damaged on the terrain because they are straight down. Unless you have a slim servo sitting behind the axle. I can't tell from the pics

The servo sits high enough so that the wires exit behind the axle tube. They can be tied up along the upper link and out of the way from there

Ok cool. Like I said, that was my only concern other than that your rig is amazing. Sub'd

I have noticed a weak point where the set screws are bending where they sandwich my shock braces. So here is my solution to the problem I hope. The cross member will now be solid 1/4" 7075 rod with a abs fdm 3d printed support.
