The Socal U4RC race was last weekend and I sure did something stupid. I forgot my body at home but luckily my buddy and I had bought a six pack that happen to have a card board box. We quickly got panels cut and mounted and honestly I kinda really like it. As for the race my brain must have been gone the night before because I had stupid mechanical problems that got me a DNF for the weekend. Guess I shouldn't be up all night working on the rig the night before a race. |

I have been wanting to replace the plastic electronic plates for awhile now and since they broke Y-Town Crawlers hooked it up and made me these awesome carbon fiber versions. Cant wait to get my hands on some wheels Old New Last edited by Shoei1; 11-19-2015 at 09:24 AM. Reason: I can't spell |

Not crazy as far as I know. My new shock mount/chassis brace makes the roof not necessary. This also allows me now to run the new Pro-line Yeti Raptor body. Which by the way looks amazing! The reason for the new shock mount was not just for the new body but my shock angle was just not right. So coming up with this idea fixed two issues I had. Nice work, your build almost has me inspired enough to pull my U4 build out of the bottom drawer!

would it still be considered a Wraith, with just that much of the cage left?

Really dig this rig and how it's grown from track time. Those wheels look sick and I'm really interested to hear how they hold up in the events to come.

I got a lot done this weekend since I wasnt able to attend the Socal U4rc race. I have been wanting to upgrade my shocks and also go back to a 4in in the rear. So I picked up the Pro-Line ProSpec shocks so now all 4 corners have 4in 12mm bore shocks. The assembly for these were super simple and wow do they feel smooth. With having the 4in shock back in the rear the whole rear seems more planted than with the Axial Icon 5in I had. I hope over the holiday break that I can tune the shock a little more to get the sweet spot. Playing in front of the house the rear wants to kick a little more than I would like. |

Are you running any sort of bypass piston? They would allow you to slow the rebound down so the back doesn't kick as hard... |
