I do not. Im going to try different springs and oil first then try different pistons.

Yep that's what it is. Unfortunately I will need to make a version 2 as some of my mounting holes are not quite right. But here it is mounted up.

It is ABS. I wish it was easier to switch the machine to Nylon but it is a pain in the ass.

Damn I'm jealous. A quick Google search had conflicting details but is Ultem a material choice? I'm hoping to see some parts made from it at CES later this week.

Yep, although for our application I think nylon or polycarbonate would be better. Ultem has a super high temp range, but it only prints in the lowest resolution on our machine.

Yeah a .330mm layer is a bit course. The parts in the pictures must have a decent amount of post processing done to them.

Not at all, other than a soak to remove whatever support is left over. Those were printed with a .007" layer height, and the Fortus can go down to .005" if we wanted to get really fancy.

I was talking about pictures of the Ultem parts online. Tyler's bulkheads look really good. I'm especially impressed with the vertical plate that the shocks mount to. My printer would struggle with that. What orientation were they printed at?

Pretty much how you see it in the car. So the large flat surface horizontal to the build tray.

I have version 2 printing right now. When I get to work I will snap a pic before I remove it.

Series 7 Race 1 of the Socal U4RC

Was a great race this weekend for me in the 2.2 Pro class winning heat 1 and getting second in heat 2 and finally winning the final race. The final race had a great battle between Del Monte(Jake Wright) and myself. Have to say it was the most fun I have had racing. The Pro-line Pro-spec shocks and the new BFG tires worked great. I have a few more minor changes to do before the Nationals up in norcal but I cant wait to race again.
