Season opener for the SoCal U4rc at Cherry Valley raceway was this last weekend. I think this is the first race I didn't have a lot of work to do on my rig before the race which was nice. The race went really well and won the heat and the main. Unfortunately it looks like the 2.2 comp class is dying so I will be converting this rig into a 2.2 trophy rig soon. Now that I have a welder at home it should be much easier to make a chassis. Here is a video from the race. Im not actually racing just doing chase for the video.

So I picked up the Pro-Line ProSpec shocks so now all 4 corners have 4in 12mm bore shocks. The assembly for these were super simple and wow do they feel smooth. With having the 4in shock back in the rear the whole rear seems more planted than with the Axial Icon 5in I had. I hope over the holiday break that I can tune the shock a little more to get the sweet spot. Playing in front of the house the rear wants to kick a little more than I would like.

Man this thing is rad! I want to try and fit a yeti body on my bomber here is the trail honcho hacked up to fit haha
