Default Battery mounting?

Trying to get some ideas on best and lowest spot to mount my battery. If you could post some pics or ideas. I'm building a wraith ultra4 style!

there is a kit to mount it sideways under the hood right about where your receiver is. ive heard alot of people go with that and that it improves performance alot.

Take the stock battery tray and mount it up front with a screw .you might have to trim it but its free and works.

I don't like that extra rear weight bias myself.. Going to try the mod Wurster suggested, the extra weight up front should help with front end traction also.

That's the way mine is now. Just wish I could get it lower and maybe centered. Would love to put it on skid plate.

You'd have to remove or mod the driver's side interior and lay it on it's side lengthwise and use the battery straps to secure it to the chassis

Personally I recon the lipos are so lightweight these days it makes next to no difference.

I've done the flip up bonnet mod and have a rear Stiffee kit which makes battery changes a little harder but see no point in moving it.

I don't weight my wheels either lol
