Ordering a battery today, need a quick bit of help.

Hey all, just built my Wraith kit. I have ordered the Mamba Max ESC, Tekin Pro4 3300KV motor, Castle BEC 10 Amp BEC,Solar D771 Servo. Whats the best battery to run in this thing? Gonna be trail running/bashing with the odd little bit of crawling......I was thinking like a turnigy 5000 3S 25C?? I don't have any lipo's yet in my other rig, so if any of you knew of a package deal with batt and charger that would be good as well.

This thing hasn't moved under its own power yet, and its already a money pit. Really enjoyed the build though, better then watching the voice with the wife!!!

Are you running 32 pitch spur & pinion? You'll need to with that much power. I recommend the smallest p pinion (11t I think) and largest spur you can fit.

Keep in mind, a large battery lime the 5000mah will decrease performance because it is so heavy high up on the truck.
A 2200mah or 3300 should still give you plenty of run time imo... up to you though. Obviously, you will need multiple 2200's to ge t the same run time as the 5000.

Also, that's a hungry motor, go for at least 30c/40c with 60c being better.

the highest C rating you can afford. I have some 60c 3s and boy do they rip compared to another 3s at a 30c rating.
