Looking good. You planning to leave the rear cage like that, or got something else in mind? After your previous pictures I'm considering running mine without a front bumper, and adding vertical bars to the top rear of the cab straight to the frame for a pickup style cab / bed instead of a fastback.

Cage will end at the farthest shock mount so a spare tire fits like I want. I'll probably rough that out today.

Really digging this build! Good job. I'm assuming you have to use shorter shocks with the tummy tuck? |

The axle to chassis height didn't change. Just the angle of the links and drive shaft so I'm gonna run full length rears and two stock shims in the front.

Ran out of threaded rod and lost a wheel/ tire but this is the plan for the back. Bought losi whites in 2.75" and wishing I went with 2" Other than that it flexes ok. |

I have no intentions of running the axial interior. Does anyone know the dimensions of the Apache c1 or a pic of one used in a wraith?

Measured the shocks again and they are 4" Had to kick it old school and bend some brake line and all thread with a brick and a hatchet. Trying to rig this thing up enough to compete this Sunday. Here's the current setup. It's the best I can do without tubes. Found some binding in the upper/ front links so that'll get squared away tomorrow. |

Test drive went ok. Not happy with the rear spring lenght so I'll be running a limiter strap as a quick bandaid. Picked up a 5000mah 3s 35c pack and things were going good until the bec quit working. Gonna throw more parts at it tomorrow. |

Got my ass handed to me on our first comp after taking a repair. Things I learned: Loctite everything Dont comp with a 5000 mah pack 5 pound scaler isn't impossible Balanced weight from front to back is great. |

Quick update. Was having some glitching with my setup. Full throttle would result in full lock right with my servo. Here's what I did to fix it and a list of radio gear. 3pk with fasst spektrum Spektrum micro rx Y-harness with only the power wire removed on the male side Spektrum rx capacitor Tekin rs Tekin 17.5 3s Solar d772 Cc bec |

Yep. Right after I read your reply. I gotta learn to drive before I think about winning. This thing is way faster than I thought it would be. I guess I could try a 2s but fawk that. |
