Calderwood was kind enough to send me some parts to try. Rear plate gained me .25" more up travel and allowed me to keep my upper link length. Very straight forward install here and the fit and finish is great. And here's a pic of my other home wrecker. It's currently my daily driver. Last edited by djjiz; 06-30-2014 at 06:53 PM. |

That rear mount looks like it works well. Nice Toyota too. I have had a bagged and body dropped Toyota as well as two different bagged and body dropped S10s (one to the rocker and one to the doors). I'll always have a soft spot for mini trucks. Currently I have a 4Runner on 38.5"s but some days I wish it was laid out instead.

You got any pics handy? If I could have another one it would be a samurai, early rabbit, or a chevett tucking 22"s. |

That's a pefect rear link setup! Great work! I think I will have a second 1.9 wraith in the works soon, I just love these things!!! I need a pic of that wheel you have mounted, it looks like it has spokes! Last edited by Tgreer; 06-04-2014 at 07:16 PM. |

Nice. Mine was a daily until it started blowing $200 fuel pump relays. Sirting in a parking lot trying to hot wire it now. |

Found the main fuse box was shorting out on a inner fender. Next problem.. Finding a home for the servo. Wraith frame rails are pretty narrow and low. Links work mint but the horn on full left lock brings the suck. |

What about mounting the servo from underneath? You could even use one of the sets of ear savers I included to space it down and not have to trim off the rib between the bolts on the servo case. Maybe even stack both sets.

Ouch - may have to go back up in the chassis with that one. Awful tight in there.

For the first time ever I'm able to full stuff my front axle. I'm short a couple screws but the frame mods are done for now. There's absolutely nothing in the way of the servo or links and so far just bench testing it's stiffer than stock. |

Who's making a good rear axle shaft these days? Both my strc's are bent.

Way cheaper. Under $30 a set.

This is where I'm at tonight. Heavily modded front plate and a front end stiffy. Truck cycles good but I'll need to bend some uppers to clear the servo. Locked up FI lockers, heavy duty rear shafts, dlux v2 knuckles, some xr10 modded scx10 axles, and trying to cut the back off the chassis and still keep the sway bar are next. |

Hey I'm building wraith up. Looking to go 1.9. What are the advantages to 1.9?
