| Highend shocks worth it??
Are the highend shock like Proline pro specs worth the money for someone who just runs their wraith for fun or at the occasional G6? Having raced offroad rc for the past 20+ years i know the value of a good shock but do I need for my wraith or will i be just as satisfied with say axial aluminum bodied shocks?

From my experience I feel proline shocks were better than all the other shocks in that price range but they r probably too short for a wraith. I got kyosho red velvet shocks on my scx truggy that weighs 10lbs and I was running proline shocks and gmade piggyback shocks. Needless to the say the kyosho shocks blow any shock out of the water but consider that the kyosho shocks are almost $200 for a full set and proline shocks are $75 a set. It came down to finding what worked best for my setup some people run the stock shocks and love them. Where as others can stand them. U can make almost any shock perform well if u tune it right |

The problem I had with the Axial aluminum bodies was that they cost more than what you can find the GMade or Prolines for so why not upgrade for less or that's how I saw it. Personally, I like my GMade XD Piggybacks over the plastic stock shocks.

I have a thread in the AX10 2nd generation about my axial aluminum body shock setup. You can fine a set on here from time to time for 20-30$ Complete....not a bad deal for the upgrade.

I've ran the long PL and really have loved them on the wraith. However, I did build my 1st set of 103 GMade PB's and they are on the red Bronco Build now. I like the quick adjustability of the Xd's compared to the PL which I had to take off the truck and swap springs and so forth. I'll be giving the XD's their 1st full test this weekend. I really wanted the Kyosha RV set but not going there just yet! |

For the money you can't go wrong with the Big Bore shocks.. Made a nice difference on my rig, and cost less than the others. (I do wish i could get some Kyosho velvets though) |

Not to steal the thread or anything but do the xd piggy backs and the pro line shocks work with the axial rear sway bar? Thanx in advance

My pro lines started leaking after a few packs. Others then that there awesome. I got the pro lined thinking they'd stay sealed but they leak like all the rest |
