|  Nipple on the kit hexes?
The kit comes with the aluminum axial hexes for the wheels. Thing in the hexes have the little nipple piece on the front that fits into the axial wheels. I am running the mayhem monster wheels and the hole is smaller than the nipple so it pushes the wheel out a little only letting about half the hex grab into the hub. Are you guys grinding down the nipple on the hexes for aftermarket wheels or do i need to replace them all together? I don't want to drill out my mayhem wheels.

Yeah, just take a file or a Dremel sanding disc and make it flush with the rest of the hex body. If you don't want to mess with all of that, you can buy the Axial narrow hexes.

As was said, take a grinder to them. The original ax10 and IIRC the wraith come with those. The scx10 has thinner hexes with no nipples, but they are ribbed... |
