| Re: The "Official" Fastest Wraiths on RCC thread. Sure haven't. I haven't even touched it since that speed run. I need to fix where both back wheels slipped the beads first. Work has been kicking my a$$ lately to the point that when I have a day off I try to relax and spend time with the family. I will try that speed run again though. |

Damn! Some nice @$$ set-ups, fellas! I've got my Wraith on a Tekin Roc412 3100kv married to a Mamba Max Pro. I've only been running 2S. I'll pick up a 3S and see what I clock it at. |

Definitely not as fast as others but at least I'm on the board now. Traxxas vxl ESC and motor. Not sure on pinion but spur is 80. Factory ratios front and rear. On 3s 5000. Pretty happy with this, will try again on a fresh battery. That pack had close to an hour of run time before I thought to check it so I could post here. Edit.... Downloaded the app that everyone else has used. Results were the same as my gps. Removed the front drive shaft to see if that would add any speed. It wouldn't, it spun all the way to 20 mph. Was a pain to drive, stayed sideways most of the time. Last edited by DTB1; 10-11-2014 at 05:44 PM. Reason: added more info and picture. |

Mine is set up for trails and rocks. Its geared down and i run brushed. I put the 20t stock motor in and tossed in a 3s. Best run i got 12mph, but the phone fell out after that while i was trying to go faster and i closed the app before i got to take a screen shot. But that should give you guys an idea of a stock brushed motors speed. If i get time tomorrow i may put it all the way back to stock if i can find the stock gears and do a couple runs. |

I've got a wroncho. Does that count? I'm getting mine put back together with some new parts. I'm running a mmp and a 3300kv pro4 geared at 14/56 on 3s. I'll get the app and see what it can do. I'll post in a couple weeks when I get it ready

I have a Hobbyking x-car 120a ESC with a Trackstar 4 Pole 4850KV motor in mine and the thing screams....and I can still creep ever so slowly. As soon as I get my RR Steel Idler gear I will do a speed test and post MPH on here along with a short video.

Finally got around to checking how mine does. Trackstar 10.5t, X-car 120a, 2200mah 3s geared 12/60. Perfect for what I do with it, crawls very smooth and gobs and gobs of torque. |
