Default Went in the drink :(

Doing a hill climb and lost it at the top...don't think it could end over end as far as did..but the wraith landed upside down in water that completely submerge it. I was 1 second behind it. I got to instantly...
I unplugged the battery immediately.
So what's the chances the MMP and Roc 412 survived? Is there anything I can do?

Chances are they will be fine once they air dry, I usually wait a couple days to be safe. Id take the case off the esc, you could also take the motor apart. I have fully submerged rigs a few times Be SURE everything is dry before you power it back up.

I would carfully take the MMP out of its case and put the board in a plastic bag along some dried rice. Make sure it keep in a warm location for a couple of days. I would take the end bell off of the ROC412 and dry out the inside if there is water. You will need to re-oil the bearings.

You also should take the servo apart and see if there is water in it.

If you get the water out of everything, it maybe ok.

Ok. I'll do that. I heard that rice thing doesn't really work but I'll give a try.

This and then waterproof it before you dunk it.

I did almost the same thing when i first got my mmp. i was a lot farther than a second behind it and i did the stupid thing and left it powered up and tried running it. i run a brushless system and it didn't hurt the motor or the MMP. It did kill the Rx though. and the rice trick didn't help it either. But i wouldn't worry about the MMP. its pretty durable.

Nope. MIPS are definitely not. I got lucky. Stayin away from water until I do take the electronics all out and do the water resistant mods. Then I'll stay away but I'll feel better if I accidentally go under.

As was said, do the mmp in rice for a couple days. Do not connect power until its completely dried out. And next time do some type of waterproofing to the mmp, the motor isn't as sensitive but its also a good idea to do some type of water resistance to it too. Mostly to keep connection corrosion down.
