Wraith for speed, snow bashing - how would you build it?

Like the title says, a Wraith for high speeds and snow bashing fun - how would you build it?

I'm building my first Wraith and love doing it. It's not even done yet and I am thinking about the next one. This current one will be more aimed at crawling and rough terrain stuff. However, I totally dig my Traxxas Stampede 4x4 for it's speed and fun factor. I started wondering if I could build a Wraith in a similar fashion that might even outperform the Stampede. The Wraith would have true 4wd and that would help. With the right motor, gearing and some paddle tires I would think it could be awesome. It'll be heavier, so might not get as much air jumping things but I wonder if a Wraith is the wrong platform or perfect for a Stampede competitor?

For fun what do you guys think and how would you build it? I'm sure there is enough collaborative knowledge and expereince here (I'm basically a newbie to all this) to dream up a monster machine! I should mention I happen to have a Traxxas VXL 3s ESC sitting idle on my work bench and a HobbyWing 5636SD 4000KV motor but I'm not even sure they're compatable .

A wraith for pure high speed bashing sounds expensive. The stock wraith chassis cant handle much speed / jumps without breaking, so you'll probably want something like a Mattzilla chassis. The Transmission would need to be bombproof, probably some alluminum axles, MIP shafts, lipo battery, etc.. You get the idea now. Build it as tough as possible so you dont have to follow it around picking up parts as they fly off. Not to mention waterproof everything!

to me it sounds like you want a FOFF for the snow i would check that section of the forum out and get an idea to see what guys are running. your only issue would be waterproofing but there are countless video tuturials on how to waterproof anything on your wraith.

Here's mine with a 2100kv 1/8 motor on 6s. Motor is turnigy I love it. It does everything from crawling to foffing
