S9157 for wraith 3s lipo bomb proof tran

Hi
I have a s9157 servo and the gear strip it was running a 3s lipo with supershafty bombproof tran
So I was going to buy another and see that towerhobbies comment that its foe nice battery only
Anyone use lipo or know if this is an error

Battery chemistry doesn't matter. However that servo is only rated to 6v. As long as it's run through your receiver or a 6v BEC you're fine.

it is strange why Futaba said "Use with NiCD batteries only" in their comments
guess it for precautionary reason
