Default VP SLW alternatives....thicker 12 mm hexes?

I used the search function but couldn't find anything...can someone point me in the direction where I can find a cheap alternative to offsetting my stock wheels so they don't rub on the traxxas links?
I saw on RPP these thicker 12mm hexes used on some Traxxas models but I would prefer something in aluminum or alloy...I don't want to spend money on new wheels and tires just yet...I did install the VP titanium links and I noticed that the traxxas ends on the left wheel was almost rubbed completely down to the metal insert.

Thank you...sorry if this topic is covered somewhere else.

The traxxas are available in ali too.
Or there are these +3mm
Axial Wraith Aluminum Hex Wheel Hub 3mm wider Black TopCad 23024

Don't be dazzled by all the shiny bling there, some of it's rubbish, especially the links, but the hexs work fine.
I think integy does something similar if you search tower or a-main, don't be blinded by the shiny stuff.

Thank you! I won't be Midas and fixate on the shiny stuff like you say Just need a wide hex nut...I was convinced that I would have to epoxy two hexes together...or hire a welder to tac weld them. I'll look for the traxxas ones...not sure about that asiatees website.

Fair enough

RPP have these, Tower do to but more expensive.
Pro Line PRO-2 Front Clamping Hex for Slash 2WD

The Integy version of the Aisatees are out of stock at both Tower & RPP

$13.50 gets you 2 thick 2 thin STRC A-main

Proline makes a wide clamping 12mm hex that are fatter than any of the axial ones they are blue and around $10. Just be careful not to over tighten the clamping screw as it will strip out easy and also cause some slop in your hexes

Traxxas Slash 2wd front wheel hexes are cheap, slightly wider and nice snug fit.

I got some of the topcad +5mm hexes and found that the axle stubs weren't long enough to install the nut on the wheel. Anyone else experience that?

You could try these from RPP https://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDeta...ode=RC4Z-S0407

I had to open the hole to 7.5mm by about 1/8" on the inside of the wideners so they would fit the Wraith 12mm hubs all the way on. No big deal there. Other than that they work perfectly.

I appreciate all the feedback....I made some quick cash on ebay and bought some Mayhem Engineering Monster's Re-Machined finished wheels.

My +3mm are close to out of thread so I figured the +5mm would do that, that's why I didn't recommend them this time. I don't really know what application they'd work in, would have to be a thin flanged nut rather than the stock washer & nyloc maybe.
