|  Tranny gear selection ?
I am running a holmes crawlmaster on 3s and the tranny gears are not happy now so im looking at. Axial heavy duty steel gears? Hr aluminum gears? Hr steel gears? I can get them all on fleabay and price is pretty close so who has tried em and whats your thoughts. Buckeye Performance Inc. offroad fabrication drivetrain/differential service 828-779-2242 |

I bought the two Robinson Racing makes for the tranny from RPP, the other gear is already metal.

HR steel gears is all I use. I don't trust that top Axial gear metal or not. The HR set is all 3. After years of running 3s in several trucks they still look like new.

Ditto on HR steel gears. Had them on xr10, clods and axial tranmission, not one issue with it.

Hr steel gears all the way. Never had a issue with them on big brushless power.
