Default My Cherokee wraith

I bought a poison spider wraith and didn't care for how it performed so I made some changes that made huge differences. Here is a list of my changes.

Axial aluminum 25t servo horn
Savox 1256 servo
Vanquish titanium steering rod and link
Gmade piggyback xd 103mm shocks
Ms tech droop kit
The free wild boar driveshaft fix
Vanquish 12mm aluminum wheel hexes
Vanquish wheel hubs

So far I am loving the truck after the upgrades and look to do more in the future when the budget allows. I snapped some pictures to show its flex. I like the scaled body of the Cherokee and got it to narrowly miss the back window when at full flex. Hope you all like it!

In one of Harley's videos he goes over a fix that strengthens the driveshaft by changing the trans output shaft and rear end shaft to female ends. Then take one of the male ends and super glue it into the trans output shaft female end . This allows it to move freely in and out on the rear end shaft. I could post a pic of the finished product if you would like

TBH, you don't even need to do that. With the stock male and female ends cut a section of parts sprue that's just longer than the make piece. Insert it all the way in, it's a right fit but it'll go. The small bit that sticks out won't cause it to bind but will let you grab it with pliers to remove it if you need to disassemble the joint. No glue required. Been running a castle 2400 on 3s that way and it hasn't even begun twisting.

No matter what mods you do to the stock shafts (including steel rod inside), it's still plastic on plastic. Once dirt, sand, mud, or rock rash touches those splines, they are going to start binding which will not let the suspension work correctly. You're better off with a set of steel shafts.

I did this mod at the very beginning of my getting into the hobby. I have since learned that what you all have said is very true and to just go with the metal driveshafts. I am considering upgrading to some Junfac driveshafts, do you have any experience with those?

Junfac shafts are good...haven't had any problems with them yet.

Nice rig, I heard the Junfac shafts are good, I personally use a lot of MIP products but..I would say that the JunFacs are just as good, if not better
