Wraith Steering Parts Question

Well, got my kit built this past weekend and have been running it every afternoon after work. Man I love this thing. In one of my first posts, I mentioned that I would only upgrade/replace as things broke. Well, I have changed my mind.

Man, y'all weren't kidding about the stock steering. The plastic tie rod is just plain awful. So, my first upgrade will be the Vanquish Titanium Tie Rods.

This is where I need your help. I am going to go ahead and get the VP Ti drag link, and the Tie Rod at the same time, but, Vanquish has two different tie rods.

1. Part # VPS03110 (3/16 Titanium Steering Tie Rod (and)
2. Part # VPS03111 (Ackerman Racing Tie Rod)

For my 1st big upgrade, I am getting the VP Stage 1 kit (Part# VPS06509)

My question is which tie rod do I need to get that will work with the stock Wraith knuckles and the knuckles in the stage 1 kit? Will part #...3110 work with both the stock and VP knuckles? Don't want to buy one part, and then have to buy another one when I upgrade the knuckles/chubs.

Your second big upgrade should be the 10 piece link set! haha

"#2" is meant for the VP racing acckerman arms..so don't get those..get the first one on your list. Any VP sells links for these as well which they are an 8 pc not 10pc!!! You'll also want to upgrade to the Stage 1 kit with c-hubs, knuckles, and lockouts. I also recommend that you get some aluminum diff covers, as these will get scratched to hell over time. They make an 8 piece link set, as well as the 10 piece set with tie rod and drag link.
