Question about a used wraith.
 

I was at my LHS today and saw they had a wraith there for $189. Its a "rtr" I didnt get to look at it up close but from what I could see it had different wheels and tires. Flat green body panels a roof with lights on it. Seemed to be in decent shape.

Questions I have are, Is that a decent price for a used wraith? And when I go back to look at it what should I look for?

I would say yes. RTR new is 399$ the price is low perhaps because its just a roller (no electronics ...motor etc. Radio included who knows.

Im going back to look at it today, it has a sticker on it that says "rtr, only need battery''. Hopefully ill have a new truck by the end of the day.

Check how sloppy everything is and try driving it, see if the gears sound crunchy. Seems like a decent price but make sure you won't be replacing half of it ASAP because it's in crap shape

You will beat up your wraith anyway so its okay to get used. i would look at if there any striped stuck screws in the chassis. Maybe ask if its had a lot of use in water.

even if it was totally beat down 180 is still a pretty decent price for $300 car you can pick up stock replacements for most parts for pretty cheap. most people want to replace the motor and the speed control anyways so it seems like a pretty good deal

I was a couple hours late. It was sold by the time I got there this morning. So I did the only logical thing and ordered a new Poison spyder wraith rtr :mrgreen:"thumbsup"
