Default Cornelius, The Hand-me-down IFS Wraith

So this rig has been passed around between few members here in my local club.. It was originally built by EGGBERT. He did an excellent job on this rig. Everything fits and flows nicely. I had built a full tube frame (Aloysius the Ultra4 rig) but with the release of the Yeti, I sold it. When the release date kept getting pushed back, I need to pick up a rig for a local g6 event.. So I picked this chassis and front end up from a buddy. Since then I have put quite a but of work into it. Was going to sell this rig once the yeti came out.. But I like this one too much now!!

I recently ordered around $450 in parts for the front end, replacing pretty much everything that was stock. I am in the process of building a customer rear end for the cage.. Something a little different than everyone else

Here is the parts list:

Chassis:
Cut up wraith frame
HittmanFab rear cage
Eggbert made front end
Exo cut chassis with ifs front end

Rear axle:
Dlux case w/bearing mod
Under drive gears
Ballistic fab diff cover

Front ifs:
Blue Monkey spool
Standard ratio hardened gears
Stock bulkhead
Rpm front arms
Strc front castor blocks
Strc front shock tower
Strc upgraded steering rack
Vanquish steering knuckles
Traxxas heavy duty steel cv shafts (tra6851R)
Lunsford Ti turnbuckles
Rpm rodends
Protek bearings

Transmission and driveshafts:
Stock case with brass inserts
Supershafty motor plate
Duratrax 60t spur
Robinson racing gears
Supershafty 6mm outputs
Fast eddy bearings
Lathed down MIP shafts (little special combo)

Suspension:
Proline shortcourse power-stoke shocks
Chaotic Ti links
Rpm rod ends

Electronics:
3300kv pro4
MMP w/castle bec
Futaba bls157
Futaba rx
Hyperion 3300mah 3s lipos

Tires and wheels:
Vp Enduro wheels
Locked up rc acorn wheel screws
Shift hubs (slims up front, normal in rear)
OTTSIX Gold Voodoo U4 tires
CI Duces wild (tall)

I have not. I just picked them up last night. Waiting on some front end parts, and my cage material to show up.

Love the look of that rear cage chop, what is the strength like with only the single tube at the rear?

There is no strength in it. I will be getting in some material and will be building the back myself. So these pics are far from a finished rig, I just wanted to show how the tires looked mounted up. Thanks for the compliment thou! I think you will like the cage even more once I am done with it

Have you got a PN# for your front spool. I ordered one to work with the traxxas cv shafts like you, but believe I got sent the wrong part as the cv's wont slide up onto the shaft far enough to put the set screws through. Thanks in advance

Had to cut the spool tangs down. I believe 2mm off each side. After that they worked fine.

This rig doesn't exist anymore.. Things changed, taken off, and needing to be sold (complete ifs front end). Switched to a solid axle setup front and rear. Still slammed, so I really like how it drives and handles.

I suck at keeping scale threads updated because I don't have that much interest in scale rigs.. But, I will try my best to get some updates up soon.
