Default Wraith bouncer style shocks

I searched and saw some old posts about this but was wondering if anyone is running proline shocks in the Wraith for a bouncer style only rig. Converting mine over to this type rig and wondering where to start on shock oil.

Not sure what you mean by "Bouncer Style" but I run Proline ProSpec Slash Rear shocks on my Wraith and my Bouncer that I'm building. I generally run 35 weight oil in all my crawlers. Though I'm not as picky as many.

Yeah I've seen some on here call them southern bouncers or rock bouncers. We have a lot of the full size rigs in our offroad group and trying to make the wraith a toy version of them. We just drink beer and hold wot till we get to the top. Figured I would make a toy version that is a lot cheaper to fix, and take with me when we go out.

Yep, that's pretty much how I wheel my wraith too. Tekin Pro4 4000kv motor and just run all out until I make it or break it.

Do you feel those shocks are worth the extra money? Have you compared them to other proline shocks like the ones for the Slash?

They are the ones for the slash. Slash rear shocks and yeah, I love these. Totally worth the money for me. Though I know the traxxas 4 inch shocks work well, just don't look as good.

A lot of the southern bouncer guys do their business on private land. No rangers to speak of...

Ah. I guess that shows where I come from, I just assumed the only land available for that kind of tomfoolery would be park land.

Yah definitely go with proline rear slash shocks. They are good all around shocks and will handle great for a bouncer.
