Default Wraith Clicking/Slipping in front end

My wraith makes a clicking noise or like it's slipping on one of the front wheels on moderate acceleration. The pin is not loose on the wheel or any of that. What could be the problem?

The end of the axle shaft and/or locker could be ore out allowing it to slip.. Time to tear into the axle for an inspection.

If you don't already have them, get the HD gears. Another thing is to shim the ring and pinion gears. It'll take the slop out of the axles.
As I'm looks for a set my self, please post up where we can order a set. Thanks guys.

Thank you very much guys. Is there some kind of a diagram anybody has that shows where and how many shims to put in each place?

Also without tearing it apart I messed with it a little more today. The front two wheels slip very easily almost enough do the truck is 2wd. You can hear it click. Another thing is I can take the two front wheels one in each hand and turn them opposite ways. It take some force of course but then you hear it click and they will slip. My wheels are staring to lean in and get wobbly on the front as well.

Looks great!

If you can turn the wheels in opposite directions then as a minimum the locker block or plastic diff casing have failed, or the splines on the end of the axles are slipping in the diff, or you've sheared an axle - if both wheels are tilted then it sounds more diff related. Either way you'll need to dismantle the axle for investigation.

If your differential is busted, I highly recommend the Locked-Up RC "FI" Spool. Had the same issue. No slop now.

Opened it up, the diff is good I have the vanquish floating locker in it, dog bones all good. Both front wheels don't move just grinds and has only 2 wd unless you go very very slow

your axle shafts that go into the lockers might be rounded off enough to let them slip in the locker.
