Default 550 can Install in a wraith.

I have a tekin sc4x I want to install in my wraith but the motor is too long it looks like im going to have to remove some of my upper link mount to get it to fit. does anyone know or have done this that can tell me how strong it is and or weak? please help! i would love to see some photos and or videos.

Just clearance the link mount so the motor clears or you could use a trans spacer dmg makes.

I'm running a 550 brushless motor and I just started removing small amounts
of the link mount until it just fit.
It's showing no signs of breaking and I am far from easy on my Wraith.

I have the transmission spacer from DMG on my wraith. Im running 550 can sensored brushless and it clears the link mount.

I ordered a Pro4 HD for my U4 build. I think the transmission spacers is a good alternative. Messaged Jerry. Glad this thread popped up.

I had to take a notch out of my mount for my 550 motor - i removed about 4mm measured horizontally, so plenty of meat left in the mount.

Just make a spacer that goes under the transmission. Only has to be few mm, depending on how low it sits.

Make a spacer put of some carbon fiber you have laying around or even credit cards.
