Default Servo winch setup

Looking at adding a servo winch, I've seen lots of different ideas.

What are you guys running? Is there a consensus on what works the best?

Hxt 10kg from hobby king 8 bucks all metal drive train. Toss a war pig spool on it. If your steering servo fails itl also turn your tires

I have a k3. Never knew anyone made a mounting plate.

I bet you could come up with something with some carbon fiber plate and metal servo mounting point same as the steering servo uses.

I used a TZI servo winch with a locked up spool, heyok 4 amp controler and mounted the winch in the rear as there was no room up front, winch line runs through some brake line. Let me know if you want some pics.

I thought about mounting the servo winch to my carbon fiber elecs tray but just dont want it to rip out when I need it the most lol......and the tray im refering to is the blue monkey ifs elecs tray but can be used to mount the k3 on ur ifs setup....pmd blue monkey no response yet but I think itll work with a sa rig.....kms uses the vp cms mount for one of there wraiths and im link oking into that route also for the tzi world winch mounted like a cms.....then theres always ur way which is best had it in the chassis welded or brazed

In my opinion the k2 is a much easier winch to mount and make room for

I'd trust a thick carbon fiber plate zip tied to your frame. That doubles as a battery tray

I'm sure water plate blue monkey has can work for you I also bet for 10 bucks or so you can scrounge up some carbon fiber and make your own.

I've actually been building a, km style mounting plate for my k3.
