Im assuming must of you guys that are replying own a wraith... I am wanting to do more crawling and trail riding with the rig ( no crazy 3 or 4s) what upgrades would you say are absolute necesarry. For that type of rig to make the wraith plenty capable... I'm going to try and price out the differences...

I recently bought a used wraith that was supposed to have everything on it that I wanted. I was told everything was perfect and it was ready to go. I've had it 2 weeks and have only been able to put less than 10 minutes one it. I've went ahead and order a bunch of new parts and am hoping to have it up and running early next week. My advice at this point would be to buy a stock new one and do the work yourself, that way you know what you have. Good luck

Buy a Wraith "KIT" for $300 new and add on the upgrades you will end up doing anyways, all you will need to add to the "KIT" is motor/ESC, Radio/Receiver, and battery. You get better parts with the kit such as Axial UNI's, metal lower links, etc, which you would end up changing in the first couple runs anyways.

I bought a roller for $100(which has a few alum parts), brushless system for $80, servo for $20. And ready to go finally. It just depends on how much everything is going to run up to in the end versus a new stock one.
