"• addiction – a state characterized by compulsive engagement in rewarding behavior or...."

So a few months ago, after talking with a mate I decided to buy a Wraith. I like building things so I decided to go with the kit build.
Anyway, I ordered it... had it delivered and proceeded to build it all minus electronics over the next day or two. I was pretty happy with her as she stood.
This is her minus the panels. (excuse the dodgey pic)

Then I found this site...

Not long after finding you guys here, I had ordered some Vanquish Currie axles complete end to end minus gears and shafts along with Vanquish links.
Then I started planning bigger faster more powerful.
Long story short, heres the parts list for the build it has now morphed in to:

UC FAB chassis currently being built
Vanquish Currie housings F/R (including all steering components)
Axial kit axle shafts F/R
Axial HD underdrive gears F/R
Locked Up FI spools F/R
Vanquish links all round
Blue Monkey Trailing arms
Vanquish Method race wheels with CFM 1inch wheel cans
Proline TSL Swampers
Locked Up scale hardware on axle housings and wheels
Junfac carbon drive shafts
rc4wd/King Racing 110mm shocks with 70wt oil
Asiatee Alloy skid
Rc4wd 2 speed tranny
Tekin Roc 412 3100kv
CC MMP

I think thats it so far, I may have left a few things out.
Still deciding on foams, will probably go with something from Crawler Inovations.
And am trying to decide on either Savox or Hitec for servos (steering and tranny micro servo)
Kyle at UC Fab has sent me a pic of my chassis as its life begins:

Kyle does some amazing work. I can't wait to get it in my hot little (read chubby) hands and kick this build off.

Will update with pics as it comes together. Let me know what you think guys.

It is addicting. I have offroaded my whole life.it is pretty cool how a lotof the same basics apply from a regular rig you 4x4 and a rc truck, as far as building and driving them. I bought a wraith rtr. and did aa lotof custom stuff myself cheap or free, of course iI have spent a little on it and want to spend more. I am super pleased with mine, but it is built mainly for crawling or trails not speed. Check it out. Look at the chopped and narrowed front thread. Looks like you will have a nice build when your done.
