Exclamation MMP and motor help!!!

I got a new yeah racing 10.5 brushless motor for my wraith

I wired it all up and turned it on. Hit the gas and the motor made a terrible grind noise and the A and C wires got super hot and started to smoke!

I've got the sensor hooked up, A-A B-B C-C like it said!
The MMP had a brushed motor on it and it was fine! The B wire is cold but the others are hot! Idk what to do!
HELP PLEASE!!!

Did you leave it on Brushed mode? I have not had this happen to me, but make sure you have the MMP set up for brushless mode.

OK cool... how do I move it to brushless? I don't have castle link. The MMP came with the wraith I bought. I bought the motor about 2.5 weeks ago and got it today.
I had a guy show me to the link for the manual but its PDF and my phone won't open PDF. My phone is my only means of internet BTW.

Also it came with the axial 20t installed

Google is your friend. If you can access the internet on your phone you can probably get a PDF reader app.
I recommend the castle link if you can get ahold of a computer. If not you'll have to use the radio throttle stick. Castle also has the field link, less variables then the USB castle link but it'll do what you need it to.

OK so I got a PDF reader. I downloaded adobe, didn't know I could do that.
I got it in program mode but its not making sense, I got it were I hear 9 beeps and its supposed to be for motor type so I tell it yes but then the options that beep don't match to the options that are supposed to be in #9 it gives 4 beeps and there is only supposed to be 3 options.

You need to get the castle link. If you want to be confident with the correct settings you need it. buy one, Borrow a friends, go to a hobbystore...either option is better than a smoked mmp.
