If you want an easy and free way to do it, just cut the stock battery tray in half long ways and mount that in the space just in front of the cab under the hood. Fits in there nicely and allows you to use the stock straps. The battery sits in the same position as the Werty Made one just without the servo winch mount.

| ![]() Axial Racing - Step By Step Wraith Kit Build – Part VII – Electronics Install This is where I saw it first. It's easy, works great and it's free. *edit* Sorry, posted at the same time as your last response. I suppose the aluminum one would be more sturdy but honestly I've never had any trouble. Mine has taken some big tumbles with that battery setup and never had any problem. Last edited by crockins; 11-03-2014 at 08:14 PM. |

I like the Crawler Innovations one. It looks awesome. Delrin Construction. A Great Price at $9. Molded to fit Carter Fab Front Inner Fenders. They are awesome.

frankly it doesn't matter which tray you uses, as long as you get it up front ![]() |

Traxxas battery clamp pins for a rustler and zip ties. You really only need a box if you are using soft case lipos

I have a Werty Made Wraith electronics tray and I really like it! Very well made, and it fits nice and tight. It also setup to incorporate a servo winch. I think it's $14 shipped. He's a vendor right here on RCC. Sent from my modded TI-83 plus. |

As far as trays go, mine is a low price plate. If you want the Cadillac of battery forward plates, look up BCP Chassis's battery forward plate.
