Default TODBLDZ's ExoWroncho Yota Rebuild

I have been running this rig for a few months now and have had a lot of questions about it since running the Recon G6 in Florida....

After last weekends TTC, I have torn it completely down for cleaning and a few upgrades....

So first off, I will start with the specs:

Tamiya Hilux body
Scx10 chassis/skid
Wraith trans
Robinson Racing steel gears
Robinson Racing Gen3 slipper
Robinson Racing 32p steel spur/pinion (12/56)
Mamba Max Pro
Tekin 3300kv Pro4
CC BEC
Hitec 7955tg
AR60 axles
Overdrive gears (front)
Stock gears (rear)
VP knuckles
VP C hubs
VP ti steering links
VP ti upper links
5/16 delrin lowers with Revo/Jato ends
Traxxas Big Bores with shock cap mod
JeepinDoug spring cups
AE blue springs
3A Racing winch (X2)
1" wide VP V6s
CI Double Duece foams
Proline 2.2 TSLs

The Frame has been blasted and ready for paint tomorrow.

I made small 1/8' plates that are welded to the chassis to mount the front and rear winches under the body for better approach and departure angles. The front and rear stingers are 3/16 round bar welded into 5/16 square bar that double as cross braces.

This will be a quick rebuild thread with a lot of pictures as I assemble it this week and do a few upgrades....

Well the rebuild is moving slower than I expected but made a little progress this afternoon.... Got the skid, cross brace, and shock hoops mounted back on the chassis. Also received some new winch line from Roland Rockshop in the mail for the winches....

And was able to add another great vendor logo to the wall of the shop....

Thanks Derrick....

After dinner I decided to turn a few screws and was itching to see how the new winch line looks....

Installed my Wroncho plates, sliders, and winch on the chassis....

Axles were cleaned, greased, and assembled on Sunday. Now they are ready to be installed tomorrow.....

Yes it was built to be beat on....

Mounted the rear winch and got the new winch line installed.

Added a few braces on the rear.

Also mocked up a set of DH's I had, painted the rings to match the truck, and test fit the body to see how they looked

Thanks.... Yes. I made these at work to accommodate my VP wraith upper links in the SCX chassis. I actually have them on my girlfriend's JK Wroncho and I will be running a set on my 1.9 build to raise the rear upper links.
